Give these four tips of mine a try and see how it goes!

Eat a Healthy Plant-based Diet

A plant-based food diet, especially fresh produce and fiber rich foods can improve your health and decrease stress-related causes such as lowering cholesterol, lowering blood pressure, and helping to decrease body fat. If you aren’t ready to go fully plant-based try swapping out your morning omelet for a bowl of warm oatmeal.

Walking or spending time outside

Nothing clears your mind better than being outside in fresh air. This is time to leave your computer and tv behind and put your phone away. Focus on the world around you. Listen to the birds and the wind in the trees. Enjoy the fresh air and the sun on your face. You’ll return home or back to work refreshed and reset.

Spending time with friends or the community

It’s a connecting factor for the longest living people on the planet that they spend time each day or each week connecting with friends or family and feel supported by their community. If you don’t have a solid friend group or community yet it’s not too late. There are ways to join groups through Facebook, exercise groups at your local community center, or check out meetup.com where you can find a group that has similar interests as you!
